Joining Vision in October 2006, following a career that spans forty years in the hospitality industry, Stephen’s invaluable experience, focus and expertise has helped our clients to build upon their investments and improve returns.

Stephen currently manages a portfolio of DeVere Hotels and Conference Centres, and other up scale hotels on behalf of Vision’s clients and bases his knowledge and advice upon many years of working within some of the UK’s largest hotel groups.

His career started at Trusthouse Forte Hotels, where he fulfilled various roles within line manager positions until he moved into more senior positions at Commonwealth Holiday Inns of Canada, where he became General Manager of one of their Central London properties.

Moving to the Copthorne Hotel Group in 1986 he rose through the management structure to become Director of Operations for UK. France and Germany in 1995. Subsequently he became Director of Operations for UK provincial hotels in the merged Millennium and Copthorne Hotels PLC in 1999.

During his time here Stephen managed and developed hotels in an asset portfolio in excess of £200 million and achieved impressive growth, which exceeded competitor benchmarking.

Stephen’s contribution to the Vision team has helped to grow our portfolio of assets and achieve results for our clients. The diverse experience of our team of Asset Managers helps our clients to drive improved performance, protect cash flow, increase returns on their investments and make well-informed commercial decisions in a complex and specialist sector.
